Biography
I am a keen amateur photographer and my love of dog photography is very much inspired by the late American photographer, Elliott Erwitt. His distinctive and unobtrusive style of capturing dogs candidly in black and white resonates deeply with my love of the quirky shot.
I was inspired to create this exhibition to share the joy of dogs and my love of photography. ‘A Pet Project’ has been a decade in the making and very much a collaboration. Being out and about walking Rex, our Cavoodle, is how I have come to know so many dog loving people living here.
I invite you to view this exhibition themed, “In the Name of Love” and see the world from a dog’s perspective.
All of the photographs are in black and white, taking us deeper beyond the familiar world of colour into the unspoken language of light itself.
This exhibition is dedicated to my late husband Stephen who passed away in 2023. Throughout Stephen’s life his love of dogs never waivered.
